Ah! What to say about the tour! It was flawlessly organized and executed by Arun ji and his team. We were there for almost an week and everything was so so great. From Port Blair to Havelock Island to Neil Island and back to Port Blair, everything and everyone was on time. Who can hire a bike from Ghummo Andaman?
All you need is a driving licence to hire a bike from us. We rent out to anyone with a driving licence and a passion for riding. However we reserve the right to refuse to rent our bike without assigning any reason. Be assured this is done only in extreme cases and so, most bikers can easily take a bike from us without any hassle.
I lost my driving licence” or “I do not have a driving licence” or “I have applied for a driving licence” or “I have a temporary driving licence” or “my driving licence is not valid in India”. Can I Hire a bike from you?
Without a valid normal driving licence that allows you to drive a two wheeler with gear, we wont let you drive our vehicle. And there is no exception.
What is the process of renting a bike from Ghummo Andaman?
Start by writing to us in the email or fill the enquiry form in this website. You may also call us at the given number but during business hours only. Do not forget to mention the dates for which you require the bike and the number of bikes you need. We normally revert within 2 to 3 business hours.
Once we confirm the booking, you have deposit 50% of the amount to our bank account. Balance will be collected on arrival.

Do I need to inform you about my itinerary?
You may not share a detailed itinerary with us, but the places of your night halts must be shared with us. In case of any change in the tour plan, the same must be informed to us in time. Our bikes are equipped with satellite tracking systems and immobilisers. In case of non-compliance we may immobilise the vehicle and penalise the driver.
Do you help with our tour planning?
Our expert advisors are available for detailed consultation and assistance regarding your tour. Once you have made the booking, our consultation regarding tour is complimentary.
Do you Keep Security Deposit?
You have to pay a fixed amount per bike as security deposit. The amount is given in the tariff section of the website. The entire amount is refunded at the end of the tour subject to the return of the bike in good condition. What other documents do I need to carry?
You must submit original Driving license and one of the following documents at the time of taking delivery of the bike. Both documents will be photocopied and returned to you immediately. The second document can be either Aadhar Card, Voter ID card or Passport.
From where will I take the vehicle and where do I return it?
Our bikes are kept at our showroom medical . This is where you will pick up and return the vehicle. Check the tariff section for detailed updated charges in this regard.
When and how do I pay the rental amount?
50% of the hiring charge must be paid in advance at the time of confirming the booking. The balance amount for hiring the bike as well as the Security deposit is to be paid before taking the bike key.
How many people are allowed to ride the bike?
Only two people are allowed to ride the bike. No third person is allowed to ride the bike. Children in arms are strictly prohibited from riding the bikes. Young children below the age of 10 years are not allowed to ride pillion except for short duration bookings. The pillion rider does not need a driving licence.
What document do I need to submit for the pillion rider?
The pillion rider has to submit photocopy of either the driving licence, Aadhar Card, Voter ID card or Passport. The original must also be submitted which will be returned immediately after verification.
Apart from the bike what else would you supply?
We will provide you with a helmet for the rider and if you have a pillion, we will provide you with two helmets. You can also bring your own Helmets. We also provide you with a basic maintenance kit which will help you in case of an emergency. We will also provide you with all the necessary documents that you will need to carry regarding the bike.
What if I lose the helmet or documents or anything else?
For any loss, you have to pay penalty charges to us, the amount will depend on actual loss and its severity, you can get an idea about the same from the tariff section of our website.
Who is responsible for maintenance of the bike during the rented period?
You will be entirely responsible for general maintenance of the bike. In case of any issues with the bike if you have to get it serviced locally the cost has to be borne by you. No refund or reimbursement of such cost will be admissible by us. We do a thorough check on the bikes before renting them; you also need to check the bikes before taking hand over. Once the bikes are with you, all related expenses are your responsibility.

How old are your bikes?
All our bikes are recent additions; we do not keep any bike older than 10 years in our fleet.
What if the bike is lost / damaged?
In case of damage you are supposed to get it repaired, or bear the cost of repairing the Bike to its original condition. We recommend that you make a video of the bike at the time of taking it on rent to avoid disputes while returning. In case the bike is lost, the entire amount of your security deposit will be confiscated and there will be police investigation where your co-operation will be needed.
